As part of our church community, we often capture photos and videos during services and events to celebrate and share what God is doing at New Hope Baptist Church. This typically happens during our large church gatherings however it may occasionally include ministry time in our children’s and student ministries.
New Hope Baptist Church operates as a private entity but serves as a public gathering space. While we are not legally required to obtain prior consent to photograph or record events held on our property, we are committed to respecting the privacy and preferences of all attendees, especially children and youth, whenever possible.
Photos and videos are used only for internal and church-related promotional purposes (e.g., Sunday Slides, Recap Videos, Event Promotions). All digital content is only accessible to a limited number of authorized staff members and is stored securely.
When it comes to children, New Hope Baptist Church requires written parent/guardian permission before using any identifiable image or video of a child for external publication, including social media, our website, or printed materials. You may opt out of having your child photographed or recorded at any time by completing a Photo Opt-Out Form, available by asking one of our Children’s Ministry leaders. We will do our best to honor all such requests and instruct our volunteers accordingly.
All ministry volunteers are trained to follow our media guidelines and are not permitted to take photos or videos unless authorized by a Ministry Leader. If you see an image of yourself or your child that you would like removed, please our church office, and we will happily address the issue promptly and respectfully.
